I love pork ribs, but the rub sauce I use is a honey-based pork rub that is meant for grilling. Do you have a good oven-cooked pork rib recipe that I can use for winter months? I prefer a spicier sauce, but enjoy any style of ribs, as long as it’s tasty!
Thank you for the comment Kyle, the recipe I am about to give you can be tweeked for the amount of heat you prefer, by using more Chipolte powder.
1 full rack babyback pork ribs (make sure to take membrane off back or ribs)
1/2 T. Chipolte Chili Powder
1 1/2 T. Dry mustard
1 T. granulated garlic
1 T. granulated onion
2 tsp black pepper
3/4 cup molasses
Mix all ingredients and let sit for at least 1 hour
Rub rack of ribs with mixture will be very thick.
Let ribs sit for 1/2 hour with the wet rub on
Cook your ribs to your liking and baste with
Sweet Baby Rays Honey Chipolte Sauce
you may need to baste a few times
Enjoy,
Mark
I live in Hartford and rely on the East Windsor Geisslers store to deliver my groceries. I have never been let down. They pick the best for me and the items are rung up on the tape perfict. The parking here is so tight I have to get the driver out quick. Tikets are very expensive. I don’t have any questions and am a bad cook. I open cans well. Thank every one of you that works there.
Hello Chef Mark,
We had your Chinese Marinade Pork Tenderloin and it was the best flavor we’ve had on pork tenderloin. Can you give me the recipe so I can use it when it’s not available at Geissler’s? I would greatly appreciate it.
Beverly,
Thank you for the positive feedback reguarding the chinese marinated pork tenderloin. Unfortunataly it is against company policy to give out any recipies.
